Lewisville is a small town west of Winston Salem. It's community is proud of its small town feel and it's importance through history as a major stop for settlers travelling across the United States. This route became known as "The Great Wagon Road"This is the second stop of the "Inside Out Sports 4 City Duathlon Tour" this leg of the series is a short course. The staging area will take place at Shallowford Square in the heart of Lewisville. Unlike Wilmington, the rider will experience rolling hills. The entire route takes place on the back roads of Lewisville. The surfaces are fast and smooth. The run is in a 1 mile loop format. The entire course is paved and flat. The first run will involve 3 loops and the second run will involve two.
